Default dead wet neon

ok i was driveing down the road in the rain behind a salt truck, the car was running like a raped ape all morning with no problems. when out of the blue it started running real rough and the check engine light comes on and she died, it will not fire now but will turn over. on board codes are 11,12,42,42,55. 12 and 55 are nothing to concern me of, but the two 42 have me Confused( Fuel pump relay control ckt, Auto shutdown relay control ckt, No ASD relay output voltage at PCM, Fuel level sending unit volts out of range, Fuel level unit No change over miles )only becuse it comes up twice. the 11(Timing belt skipped 1 tooth or more from initial learned value, Intermittent loss of either camshaft or crankshaft position sensor, No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking ) i'm kind of wondering if it might just be a bad connection that got wet as this happened in the rain, going out now to chk the cam and crank sensors(voltage and connctions) and let you know what i find, but in the mean time if anyone has had this happen to you or have a idea, any help would be great.

well everything chked out ok on the volt meter for the crank sensor(can't chk the cam with out a dealer service scaner) but the dam thing fired right up and now runns fine, so i'm thinking i just payed 70 bucks for a tow bill to find out i have a bad boot on a wire connection somewhere and it got wet. sometimes i think life would be beter if we stayed with the hourse and buggy, if it breaks down just shoot it lol

I've heard of this sometimes happening when a wire on the same circuit as the fuel pump gets shorted.

The Downstream o2 sensor is on the same wire, and when it gets frayed by an axle, it can nuke the fuel pump fuse, but i've heard from some people that if it's just starting to go bad, you'll see the car die in the wet from water splashing the connection.

I'd jack it up, and check all the wires down by the alternator that lead to the back 02 sensor.
