96 crankshaft sensor wiring kit instructions?
Newbie poster here, but I'm so choked at the local Chrysler dealers. I buy a new crankshaft sensor to replace the original, and have to shell out $44.00 for a new wiring harness as the sensor has been 'upgraded'. Fine, I'll pay $44.00 for the harness which consists of one plastic connector, two pieces of heat shrink tubing and 6 picees of wire. Fine.
Problem is, there's no instructions with the wires or the sensor on how to connect the new one up to the old one. When I ask the parts department, they tell me that I should already know that, and refuse to give me any more info. So can anyone assist in a pix of a pin for pin hookup as to how the new sensor connects to the old connector?
Thanks! (I searched here and found nothing).

I believe (but unfortunately don't know for certain) that your new wire colors should match up. Barring that, the sensor wire orders never changed, it was just a pigtail change.
Your dealer needs to be smacked; those kits are supposed to or at least used to come with directions.
