ORIGINAL: highline95jl

Code 11:Timing belt skipped 1 tooth or more from initial learned value; Intermittent loss of either camshaft or crankshaft position sensor;
No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking

This probably means you need to replace your sensors, theyve been disconnected, or frayed somehow so that they are not totally functioning. Also possibly time to replace your timing belt.
ok cool .. ill try the sensors and check the belt next. Thanks for your help!

Just worry about the crank sensor. The cam sensor has nothing to do with ignition timing, just fuel injector sequencing.

Autozone should be able to test your coilpack.

If problem persists, please post...

Best of luck!

If you have an Ohm-meter you can check the 1 & 2 coils with the red and black test leads on either side of the two you should have at least 11-15 ohms of resistance the same with the 3 & 4 terminals. Another thing, put a test light to the center wire in the connector that goes to you coil pack. Turn the ignition foward and the test light should turn on and then turn off.

On my Neon, I pulled out one sparkplug boot at a time with the car running. I took off the # 1,3,& 4 and the car started to miss really bad but the # 2 didn't respond at all and that's because my coil had a resistance of 12.48 which was supposedely good. A New coil costed me 89 dollars at Oreilly Auto Parts (Texas). Oh and a word of caution, in my case, when i replaced the Crankshaft position sensor, when I tryed to take it out, I guess from through all the heat, it broke while I tryed to take it out. The good thing is that I was getting the motor overhauled anyway the machine shop went ahead and took it out.

Is your fuel pump turning on ?
Check the Feul fuse under the hood.
The feul fuse is hooked up to the ASD ( auto shut down ) Kills coil power, fuel power and closes off the ports to the PCM.

hnda8r I think...

"Check your O2 wireing"
After weeks of changeing sensors, coils, relays, fuses...
We found a bad spot near the connector of a O2.
The wires were bare for a good 2-3 inches.
If anything on the fuel pump fuse ( 2 O2, feul pump,ect... ) causes the fuse to blow.
Your car will do nothing except turn over and over and over...

I agree with Radarlove dont worry about anything but your crank sensor first..If your not getting any fire..It has nothing to do with your o2 sensor??Do you have fuel pressure to the fuel rail?If you have pressure it's not the o2 sensor.

I didn't see that there was a code 11. [sm=boink3.gif]

Here is another No Spark post. It expains the ASD and how 02 wireing could cause no spark.
