Hey everyone new here.
I have a 97 neon DOHC. I cant get fire to the plugs. So i tried 2 other coil packs from a Junkyard and still nothing. Could the only thing left to change out be the computer? or doesnt the crankshaft and camshaft sensors have anything to do with it?

Actually its probably the coil packs youve tried to replace it with, god knows where theyve been or when they were put on the car, kinda just like me with my recent alternator situation, I tried saving some money by buying it there but all of them were ****. Youre really better off buying a new replacement, do that before you go spend 200 something on a new PCM.

the best way to test them as far as I know is putting them on your car. Have you tried new plugs also.
1st Change your wires and plugs, make shure you buy copper plugs because platnum is useless on the neon.
2nd Coil Pack
Do that before you go waste a rediculous amount of meony.

I highly belive that your used coil packs are a problem. You can pick one up from auto zone for $25 bucks, nothing fancy, but it does get the job done.

Code 11:Timing belt skipped 1 tooth or more from initial learned value; Intermittent loss of either camshaft or crankshaft position sensor;
No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking
This probably means you need to replace your sensors, theyve been disconnected, or frayed somehow so that they are not totally functioning. Also possibly time to replace your timing belt.
