Default Manual transmisson noise

1997 plymouth neon SOHC 149,000k 5-speed manual, im hereing a scruffling noise in the tranny in neutral, also through the gears mostly at lower rpm, but tends to go away win car warms up. shifter isn't as easy to shift mostly down shifting back to first gear.

The reason I say shifter cables is because if they are loost or disconnected the shifter will become hard to use, almost even impossible to sift if they are disconnected, they will even cause alot of racked, and possible buring if they are disconnected.

lol.

I think the answer to your problem is your release bearing as some have said. I have the same problem myself.
