Default Problem with Neon

I just purchased a 1996 Dodge Neon 2.0 V4 SOHC, and well the last couple of days its been acting strange. Yesterday it didn't want to start, but I couldn't find anything wrong with the starter cause it turned and eventually came on, but today when my wife drove it to work she said that whenever she switches gears, like in reverse or shifts back into drive the car quits and she has to restart it, not really sure if the battery would have anything to do with it but when I checked it out the terminals look to be corroded, so if anyone could help me out it would be great.

It could be a bad battery connection, as well as a million other things. Is the check engine light on?

Thank god your back casper.....

As the man said bad battery connections will keep your car from starting, Neon likes its connections really clean and very tight. Break cleaner will clean off your connections. Start there first.

FYI: No such thing as a V4

Nope check engine light hasn't came on, I'll take a look at those connections and see whats going on, I'm gonna go ahead and replace the battery, cause it looks to be kinda old.
