Default RE: blowing brake light fuse

I had this problem when I was putting in red leds for my clear tails, except my one turn signal would go slow, and the other one would go nuts, then stepping on the brake blew the fuse. The guy at advanced auto told me that it was a wattage issue, so I bought some different ones and it still happend. so then I just called the shop that fixes my car and he told me that it could be that the harness for one of the bulbs can't handle the the led So I had to either upgrade the harness or just stick with the red ones that go orange in 2 days. have you changed the bulbs recently? could be that if not then maybe its something with wiring again, I hope not but could be, good luck and I hope I was helpful
