Default Running car just off battery?

Quick question,
Will the car run terrible without the alt hooked up supplying the power, but only the battery supplying it?

ur car will prolly stall out at stops and stuff....and ur battery will drain very quickly...and without and alternator u have nothing to recharge the battery so it will be dead in no time

The car will run just fine on just the battery, you don't need an alternator. The only problem is you will kill your battery in a short period of driving since there is nothing charging it. The alternator died in my Daytona as I was getting to my friends house, I hooked it up to his charger and when I left I made an almost an hour trip home on just the battery. Now I did have a good battery in the car and I was driving during the day, so no headlights, but I don't suggest doing it for long unless you really have to.

the battery will last for a longer time if the car is just running and not being driven...but a good battery can last you like 30 minuites when driving....as long as you dont have the lights on and not listening to the radio and using the wipers
