Nope they are the same size. They are real easy to swap, plug and play

I goter done, by pulling the cluster out and then stuffing the wire into the stock tach hole and pushing the harnesses back together now it works great

LOL, I have a tach on my dash and I don't think it looks bad, I have a small one though, 5 1/2 inch tach.

If you had it along your side panel that would be cool, thats not so ricey, but on your dash, it looks liek youve got the kitchen clock on your dash.

That would be too small to read, a 2" tach? I think it looks good and its functional too.

I had my 3.25" (with cute little remote shift light) mounted on the driver's door, but it kept getting wet when I'd roll down the window in the rain (smoker). Then it went on the dash, right side of the cluster. Hated it, looked too rice-ish... Then it moved to the top of the steering column, which was pretty nice as I could just make out the numbers on the speedo (non-tach cluster) around the edges of the tach. Then it got stolen. The remote shift light was always on the a-pillar, up near the visors (until stolen).

If I were to do it again, I'd just get a tiny tach for reference, but a shift light to do the real job. I relied on the shift light a heck of a lot more than I looked at the tach.
