Default A way to fix side piston rod play?

I have side to side play where the rod connects to the crank.. I have not checked it yet but if its not the rod thats wore down can i use some kind of piston rod shims on the sides to keep it from moving ? I know that it will be a temporary fix at best and that i would need to get a new crank if this couldnt be done.. Thanks for the help

Time for a crank or new rods depending on which specification is wrong.

might as well replace///the rod bearings dont go long w/ your remedy, best to just go w/ a quick change and see what is goin on in there....be sure that it is the rod tho....M'Kay

There are no shims, you are gonna have to change the rod or crank.
