hey guys i was wonderin what i should add next to my neon only prob is that i have limited amount of cash.
Im looking for mods under $500 that will give me best hp increase.

for that, I'd say get a Cold Air Intake, and a dual exit muffler. Both items together should be under the $500 mark. The AEM CAI and Borla dually are my recommendations.

 

Almost any muffler other than stock is good, which you already have. Dual outlets mean nothing.

And you already have a CAI, which may actually be a Warm Air Intake... which is all the AEM for the 1st gen is, which is why no one bothers with it if they're serious about performance.

Upgrade the PCM to a Mopar unit for about $150 used. Swap in an ATX TB for about $35 used. Zex/Comp Cams 200 model for under $200 new. Leaves money left over for shipping, next track day's entry fee and whatnot. Bet it cuts a good second off your 1/4 mile times.
