how can u tell when your clutch is about to go bad on you?

 

an easy way is if you go about 40-50 mph in 4th gear and then floor it....if the clutch is goin bad then you will hear the motor rev up before it really startes movin....or if you have a tach then you can keep an eye on it and hit the gas..and see if it increases with the sound of the motor or faster.....and if you have to let out the clutch pedal almost all the way in order for the gear to catch then that could be a sign..with a good clutch you dont have to let out the pedal as far...

 

yup, and if your in need of a new clutch, look for an 03 pt cruiser clutch assembly used about 75 bucks and alot better instead of stock neon. just got mine in, and ready to install.

 

Why would you buy a used clutch? Thats like putting used brake pads on your car!!!!!!!!!!
