If you're looking for one that has the filter physically outside the engine bay, like the wheel well, no on maks one for the 1st gens. The closest you're going to get is hanging down as low as possible, which would be the Iceman or the ghetto setup with an extension tube.

Best of luck!

Heres what I got on my 1995 it cost me 25 bucks the stock air box is removed and the filter sits right there in a perfect spot away from the motor and way above the exhaust basically it sits right where the cold air comes in from the removed rear weather stripping of the hood I mean screw moving the battery really its not worth it and this sounds and looks great and with the exhaust work together seems to make the car move better too.

Any intake that sits over the exhaust manifold, won't give you any better performance over stock. Only difference you will see, is sound.

Thats a HAI, not a CAI. You are sucking air right off the exhuast manifold, lol

I have a heat sheild down there and also the filter sits way above the damn exhaust the the pic does show it well but its not even sitting anywhere close to the exhuast and as far as I can find out a ton of cold air comes thru the back of the hood and up around the back of the motor you can keep you red plastic iceman pos i'll go with what I got. I guess I should add also I made the heat shield with a break press i'm not talking about some stock crap.

My K&N FIPK with the heat shield ran 80+ degrees hotter at the intake sensor than the Iceman location. That's power loss hard at work... remove the heat shield (aka AEM or ebay) and the temp jumps up another 50 degrees or so. OBD-2 scanners are cool...
