with lower profile tires they will

 

16's will fit just fine, just make sure you get the correct tire for that rim to keep the total profile the same so your spedo is correct.

 

if it's not the right offset, you'll have issues. Why do people always forget about that?...

 

i have 17s with 205 40s i had to put a spacer on the back ones to keep it from rubbing stuff! they kinda look massive compared to steelies

 

205/40's shouldnt rub at all.....i just picked up a set of srt-4 rims the other day and thats the size tire im gettin for them...my old 17's had 215/40's and they didnt rub or anything...of course they only had tread on them for the first couple of days...and the 18's i had on there were 205/35, and they were awsome
