Hi all. New to the Neon forum, but not the Dodge forum. I need a right trim dash panel (the one that has the fan vents in it and wraps around the airbag) for my daughters car ('99 Neon). The panel was cracked (badly) when someone stole the radio out of it a couple of weeks ago. I could care less about the radio but really want to replace the dash panel as it looks like crap. I have Google'd and Ebay'd my brains out in the last weeks tryin' to find one of these. Used or new, I don't care. Does anyone have ANY sources for one of these dash panels? Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Try the local junk yard

 

i had 5 or 6 of them, but recently in a move i had to downsize my parts inventory....they must not of known how to steal a stereo right..

 

Dealership but thats just me...

 

Stealership = $600 junkyard = $100

 

Tried the local junkyards first. Only one available, wrong color and in poor shape. Hoping to avoid going to the dealership ($$ and probably backordered like a ****). I did get a few leads using a couple of nationwide parts requests websites, I'll see how those pan out.

spudsterier - Yeah, it PO'd me more that they cracked the dash than them stealing the radio (cheapo).

 

i guess that they didnt realize that the fron around the radio just pops off

 

take a picture of the peice I need to see if its what I have sitting here if so it will be fairly cheap get back to me.

 

X2 on the pic, I can prolly get it really cheap from the junkyard but am unsure of what part it is. Get a pic of exactly what you need and I can check my local junkyard.

 

Wow, one neon in your junkyards. Here in winnipeg, there must be close to 30-40 in each one. Stupid drivers.
