Making an auto tranny fast.

ok im still debating the swap, but i want to know, what can make the auto tranny git up and go quicker low end? i know alot to do to the motor i just need to know what i can do for the tranny to work faster from take off, after take off im fine. as far as the shift kit, thats just gunna make it shift crisper, but does it help take off from 0? HEEEELP im dumb about trannsmissions!

That was an awesome link you posted das2123! Great stuff....
Habitat: the only real way to make an auto trans faster is to rebuild it from the ground up with aftermarket parts....and in all honesty....is probably going to cost you at least twice what it would cost to do the manual swap. It's a great idea if you have the money however, as ATX can be made faster....and as shown with the SRT-8's....ATX can be very fast indeed....
