Newbie with cooling fan question
Hey guys,
New to the Neon crowd! First question:
I just picked up the car today and I drove it home and I pulled in the driveway and noticed steam from under the hood. Opened the hood, let everything cool down and came back to realize that my cooling fans aren't connected. Now the trick is that the OEM connector has been cut off and I have no idea to tell which connector hooks up to the fans. Oh and it's a 95 SOHC 5-speed before I forget. I'm heading to the yard on saturday and wanted to see if anyone had some ideas/pointers for me to look for before heading to get parts. thanks!

RE: Newbie with cooling fan question
Did they actually cut off the connector? or is it just disconnected and dangling down somewhere?
Take a good look at the connector on the fans themselves, I don't remember if that was one of the connectors that changed over the years. You might want to try running straight power to the fans and make sure they work before heading to the yard... You might also swap the fan relay for the horn relay to make sure it works (black box behind the battery), and check the fuse...
Best of luck!
