Default Dragging Brakes

It appears that my front brakes arent letting go once they get warmer. I can tell because 5th gear gets pretty sluggish and the rims are very warm to the touch after driving.

I've heard this could be the porportioning valve or brake line. Is there any other factors that couldplay a role or is it one of these two?

Thanks in advance , Sean

that happened to one of our Neons and the reason why they didn't release was because of the rust all over them so we just got the replaced. not sure if its the same problem with yours or not but thats what we had to do when our brakes began to drag.

Get them warm, jack up the front end, now spin the tire by hand. Is it Stiff (Neutral Please)? If so then crack the bleader, Is it still stiff? If so would suspect calipers are bad or at least need some serious attention. If not then you probably have a bad hose to the caliper. Repeat for other side.

Hope that help!
