Default cam shaft position sensor HELP

i just bought a 1999 neon and it throwin a camshaft position sensor code and number 1 cylander is misfiring how hard is it to swap the cps out and any input would be great i need it fixed asap help please

It's an easy swap, just a couple of bolts and the connector plug. As for the misfire, replace your spark plugs with some stock Champions or NGK iridiums.

thanks for the help i heard it is in 2 different places though some one told me in the front near the header and some one told me in rear of the motor

Well then "someone" is wrong. You only have one Camshaft position sensor and is mounted on the rear of rear cylinder head. It isn't hard to find at all. Now it works in conjunction with your Crankshaft position sensor which is on the back of the block above the oil filter.
