What are the different packages or trims for Neons? I see one called a Highline, is there any more? Also, I see MTX used alot. Is that another package or is it some kind of cool acronym I don't no about yet? Remeber guys, I'm new to the Neon scene. I'm still trying to learn. Thanks.

well the base was the lightest and as u progress through the different levels they get heavier. but its options and such that seperate them. the Expresso i think came in in like 96? or 97? cant remember might even be 98 anyways. the Base came with gray bumpers whereas the highline and the other models came with body colored bumpers (i think) and then the R/T and ACR's are the "racing" versions. the ACR was the true racer whereas the R/T came with the stuff that the ACR came with but more creature comforts (i think)... oh yea the ACR and R/T came with the DOHC (i think the seden versions of the ACR came with the SOHC but not sure). the 1995 Sport Coupe came with the DOHC but dropped that later... also the Sport model was the top of the line model in 1995.

like alredy said the acr is the high performance neon. the r/t is another performance car, but includes alot of extra cumfort features and more options....but then it also just depends on what is ordered....i have a 98 r/t that has about every option that was offered for them(power windows, locks, mirrors, power sunroof, skunk stripes and what not) and i also have a 98 r/t that has no options at all(manual windows, locks, mirrors, no sunroof, stripe delete, and so on) my wife also has a 99 sport highly optioned(power windows, locks, and mirrors, power sunroof, dohc, auto) so each trim style can be different, certain ones just have different options.....the r/t came out in 1998....the acr has been here for a long time....
