Default solid mount question

i know that a solid mount is supposed to help the "get up and go" especially since my last mount had no rubber left....the sleeve for the bolt was just lying in the big hole for the mount........but, it seems like the car doesnt go as good as it used to in 5th gear before i changed the mount...just wondering what this could be about....maybe it just doesnt seem to move as good because i cant feel the torque twisting the moter anymore.....but i dont know

Probably just a feel thing, have the same effect on good mounts after installing Prothane Race Inserts in my motor mounts. Just a seat of the pants thing less is going on so you FEEL as if less is going on but really the other way around. Engine is just putting power down.
