ok i know that lots of people ask about exhaust sound and wat not but im gonna dare to ask another, how abnoxous would my g/f sohc be if a yanked the cat tossed a pipe in there with a cherry bomb in the stock mufler place, i have the cherry on it allredy but its not to noticeable the cherry bomb is the logest i could find (maby 36") ill mesure tomorow if needed, but any who i just dont wann cut out the cat and weld the pipe in and it be stupid loud sorry for adding to all the exhaust sound questions that ive notices ar litering the forum im jus tnot sute to 4 bangers (:

 

as long as you have some type of muffler on it it shouldn't be to bad( but even that with some mods will produce a nice deep sound) when you remove the muffler is when you would notice a loud noise, that and either or upgrading the pipes to a bigger size which lets more air flow in return a louder noise or just running the bigger pipes no muffler no nothing, removing the cat and just running the pipe will sound louder but not enough to be annoying hope that was helpfull, good luck !!
