Default MTX or ATX throttle body?

Hey guys our ATX throttle body on our Neon needs to be replaced. i was wondering which one should i get? one for an ATX or one for an MTX? is there any performance difference between the 2 or are they both equally the same?

MTX TB - 49mm
ATX TB - 52mm

ATX is bigger!

The TB is a direct swap, but you may have to swap out some sensors if you get a different year than yours. If you keep the spring from the ATX TB, you should get a better throttle response.

Yeah you get a better throttle response! Holy crap! I just bought an ATX TB for my R/T and swapped em yesterday.. And its like driving a different car! I have to get used to driving my Neon all over again! Haha, but I love the extra umphf to it! Definately the best bang for your buck just by doing that! On the line of these questions, anyone notice a change in fuel economy by doing the TB swap from MTX to ATX?

i just got done putting my custon cai, atx throttle body, hurst short throw, underdrive pulley, and a new radiator from my old project car, onto my work car and WOW!!! i cant believe the difference either....the intake gives the motor the lowest and loudest growl that i have ever heard from a cai.....i just wanna keep driving it but i dont have the gas right now...and i dont need a ticket because all the tires wanna do is spin....i think im gonna make a few more of those intakes when i get the money and sell them...it sounds so awsome. almost like a v-tech when you get on it

well that explains a lot.... i've always wondered why my sisters throttle was so responsive and my throttle was less... i thought it was just the transmission but guess not... thats cool... guess i'll just do a ATX swap then... thanks guys

im not sure about the gas saving thing...but on alot of v-techs, they sound normal when just driving, but then once you get on it a little, and the v-tech kicks in, the car has a nice loud growl to it.....if i had a way to, i would post up a sound clip of the intake....i dont think that i have a before pics, but i will post after pics tomorrow, if i get a chance..though i have posted a pic on here before with the intake on my blue r/t...but now its on the red r/t and i can actually use it
