ok, i said that i would put the finished product pics up but i couldnt find any batteries...well now i have some so here are the pics...let me know what you think..i know that i had some pics up here before, but they are better now.....i dont think that it should be able to get any hot air from the motor like other intakes do....but it sure sounds sweet

patent pending??...why you want the idea???....ok so here is the thing, like i said in a previous post, i was considering making some more and selling them, but i need to know a few things before i consider it too much...first off, i dont want to make these if not too many people are interrested, so if you possibly would be, let me know...then i will see what i can do.....second....what would people be willing to pay, i know how much they are going to cost to make, but want to know what the going price might be, and remember its not ebay.....third, would people be willing to do the work to install it...the battery tray has to get the front cut off, and the radiator support has to be cut out....the reason the airfilter sits angled, is becasue i didnt wanna have to trim the bumper to fit it under there, but i guess that i could use the smaller filter the neons are supposed to use....please give me feedback and let me know, honestly please....

thats another reason why i didnt want to put it completely in the opening in the front bumper...i hope that where it is at will kinda block some of the water.....but k&n makes a rain bag that covers the filter, so hopefully that helps........i was thinking that the filter might be better to place behind the liscense plate frame, but i didnt have enough pipe, maybe on the next one i make....this one was just a trial, soon i will try to make better ones and see how they work....what better car to test it on then my own....and i am usually very picky about how things work and look...if i dont like them, then i wont sell them because i dont want people to be disappointed

I wanna steal the idea ...I think some people won't mind the small work, but cutting through the radiator support might scare the rookies away.

Rain won't hurt it, puddles will!

now the thing is, your not cutting too much...you know where that little plastic tube that is in the front bottom of the battery tray goes into the radiator support??? well that is the part that has 2 be cut out....i will get a pic of it later if i can....it can be done easily with the bumper off, or the radiator removed, with a pair of tin snips...its not that bad at all

Question...will it work on an ATX, because of the location of the tranny? If it does you might get some response from ATX owners.
