Step up to some knowledge!!!! It works on the 95-99 neons that are OBD-2 compliant. The sec gen neons actually flash the P Code as well as some trucks! I have performed this little test on my 97 & 99 neons as well as thousands of other people.

Shall I record a little video for you ?

Single or multiple cylinder misfire. The actual "P" code, what you get with a scanner, can identify which cylinder, but generally you just change spark plugs, inspect wires and the coil pack.

das is right it works on my car also. I am throwing a TC code on my 97. That is because it is a pcm from a 97 ATX car and it has an MTX.

It works on my buddies 98 intrepid too.

and also, what is wrong with OBD-I? My truck is OBD-I and I can hook up my laptop to it with 2 wires and it will tell me everything the truck is doing including fuel curve. It tells me what each sensor is doing. Computers in cars are stupid in my opinion. I will take a good old fashioned smallblock any day.
