Default Drag Racing

Alright, so I gotta question! My 98 R/T has a custom CAI, ATX TB and aftermarket muffler. Considering such, what should I be shifting at for optimum times? I know that stock is 6500rpm, but I dont know if I should increase that because of the mods I have done. I was able to get a 15.927 outta it though, I posted the timeslip!

A stock R/T can run mid's...work on your 60ft time and get some inserts to eliminate wheel hop.

the ideal way to shift from my understanding is that every gear you start in you want to start at peak torque (less 1st). this would provide max accel. from 2nd to 5th each shift would be at a diff rpm based on trans gears. this MIIIIGHT shave a tenth or two, but you'd have to dyno and do the math for your trans. like das said work on your hook-up and launch, this will provide the best et's and where 99% of racer's lose the win (even the pro's). good luck.
