i might be falling into some money here soon and after i pay some of the loans i have i might buy everything needed to start making them.....i just havent had the time or the money lately....there has been so much goin on lately, plus i have to jump between 3 jobs all week(1 full time, 2 part time)...everything has been real hectic......but i think in a few weeks i will get erything needed...plus i have to try and find a piece of silicone hose i heed first...man that stuff aint cheap!!! then i will make a parts list and figure out cost, and i wanna see if i can find the pieces needed to make it that go the shape i need, being that mine is actually 5 different pieces....i have been having inventor workshop companies calling me everyday but i havent had the time to draw up blueprints or anything.....i think that i will make probally 4 of them soon and see how people respond to them...then maybe i will get ahold of the companies and see about production.....but if they work out good and a company is interrested then there will be 5 originals floating around for the first 5 made....haha

oh and within the past 2 weeks i have driven through some pretty hard rain, without my rain bag on, and havent had any problems with water getting in...yippy!!!

how much were the icemans????
im pretty sure mine wont be extremely expensive....maybe between 100-175...pending on materials....but i will have to make some here pretty soon

From Modern Performance they were $199 from Iceman direct they were $269, that included the filter, battery tray and intake.

sounds cool.
Man if you could get a patent on those we could be looking at a future millionare here.
I know materials are expensive. But I dont know if I want to drop 175 on another intake.
even though Im not to impressed with my short ram.
I might have to try and rig something up later.
Im planning on doing an atx throttle body swap very soon.
We'll see how that works out. I hear its quite a difference.
Idfont know how hard the swap will be .
How long did it take you?

It's not plastic, it's like our stock intake tubing only shaped differently. Puts the filter down in front of the tranny like the Iceman.

The snorkel is, but the tubing is different. It's more flexible than plastic, I think. Actually, I think you can cut the stock tubing turn it towards the battery tray and get some piping to extend it down to where the Iceman sits.
