Hey das2123, Do u know of any good performance upgrades for a 1998 Neon R/T?

 

The Firestones are listed as Performance All Season which should be for cars. Some reveiwers used them on trucks. Looks like you have two good choices there. For sizing, I'm sure one of the more experienced folk around here (or the shop) could answer that.

One thing to remember, you may need to call around or special order the tires. When I got the Turanzas on my WRX, they were on a 6 week backorder.

 

all 1t gens have 14's except for the plain 95's that came with the 13's

Do I? Of course I do. What would you like to do? Most people start out with a Cold Air Intake (CAI), Underdrive Pulley (UDP), and exhust of their choice. The DOHC exhaust flows well from the factory and doesn't need to be upgraded until you are over 200HP. Unfortunately, the only true CAI available for the neon was made by Iceman, which has gone out of business, but you make your own 3.0L CAI. A cheap upgrade for you, if you have a manual, is to get the throttle body off of a auto neon. The manual one is 49mm and the auto is 52mm. More info can be found up top. Here is the link to it.
