Hey just got a new fuel filter for my Neon and before i install i need to know something. I've changed countless fuel filters on imports and other cars but they were in the engine bay. with the Neon and how its down by the tank should i just wait until i need to fill up or will it be ok if i were to just disconnect it and replace it without all the fuel coming out.

 

I did it with a full tank on my 93 Shadow, didnt leak out a whole lot as the filter is after the pump and if the pump isnt on it will only leak out whats in the lines. remember to prime your lines after changing the filter tho, just turn the key to the ON pos. and listen for the pump a few times.
