Default So..

I got bored this evening, and usually I take out my boredom on my Neon, because we all know there is always *SOMETHING* to do or fix on the car! Haha, anyhow, I have successfully removed my intake manifold, I plan on cleaning it out. Any suggestions?

Also, how common is it for the thermostat housing to leak? I think this is where I am losing my coolant and the reason my car is overheating >.< Could it possibly be that the thermostat gasket is just not lining up right?

Anyone have any other suggestions as to what I should do while I have the front end of my engine torn apart? Before long I will know this car from inside out :-D

Thanks all!

No, it will let your engine breate better, keeping it cooler. The only way it could affect gas milage is if you press harder on the gas do to the extra hp

Hmm, sounds like a long and tedious process, I think I will save that for some other time, maybe pick up a second intake manifold and use that for it incase I screw something up! Thanks for the advice though!

Thats one of the nice things about having the PCM correct air/fuel mixtures for you!!!
