Im just went through this prob or still am I might say but like das said and thank you das you where right, your P/S bolts could have done what mine did, Im guessing when the new pulley I had put on, that in the process the P/S wasn't tightend enough there are three bolts to it, the 2 that lay on the groves use a half inch wrench and the one holding it on to the car uses a 13,14 or 15mm size socket. the two bolts on the groves are a PITA to get especially the second one and that's still after removing the radiator hose ( sqeeze the hose to get the antifreeze into the rad so you won't have so much spilage), you could use a ratchet but not a double sided one, and make sure it is a thin one. Hope that was helpfull and good luck!!
well since you said that your alt belt is loose, tighten that up first before doing anything else like messing around with your cam(s) it could just that your belt needs tightend and that's it, if you have to tool to do it then go ahead and go for it, a suggestion though, when and if you do have it done, don't cheap out on the belt and while your at have your other belt changed too hope some of that was helpfull and good luck !!
