Default newb here

hey all, im new to the neon era, but not new to moding cars, i have a 92 cavalier z24, powered by a 3400 SFI v6, went from 2.2-3.1-3.4, so im mechanically and electrically inclined. i also do my own body/paint

great forum you got going, i fixed my gauges in my 95neon already , now few q's for you guys

heres my neon specs,

95 plymouth neon
4 door,
2.0 SOHC
auto

thats all i really know lol, its been my daily driver/ winter beater until i sold the cav, now i threw my 17's on er, and wanna upgrade some stuff

i cracked my stock front bumper (drifiting in snow) and imma replace it with one of the ones with the foglights, no prob, bolts right up right?

heres my plans

fix bumper,
paint black
upgrade headlights (projectors/halo?)
shocks and struts (mine are totally shot)
steering rack (leaks, from either the rack or the pump not sure)
fix tranny slippage or 5 spd swap (only slips when its cold, i read somewhere about adjuster belts?)
then the fun stuff
header (looking at the kirk long tube)
ATX throttle body, CAI
pacesetter cat back
lower
cam gear
maybe some head work?
soild engine mounts

anyone see any problems with this? or other stuff i should do
i have about $3500 to spend (i think that eats a bunch of it)
where do neons rust, i only see a couple spots forming on the sil for my rear windows,

also i wanna know if the 2nd gen front end will fit on the first gens? or what parts will?

thanks a bunch guys

for the head lights i would just change them to these...

http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx..._1995-99.shtml

I would also just swap it from an ATX to the MTX as well as changing out the PCM.

I would also just keep the ATX TB since it already has the ATX TB...

auto(lose the auto of you want any chance or being quick)
now i threw my 17's on er(17's will hurt acceleration)

i cracked my stock front bumper (drifiting in snow) and imma replace it with one of the ones with the foglights, no prob, bolts right up right?(Correct)

upgrade headlights (projectors/halo?)(Both are bad choices for light output unless you are ready to install a HID kit alng with them. Diamond clears are great though!
shocks and struts (mine are totally shot) Konis and Mopar high rates are the way to go.
fix tranny slippage or 5 spd swap
header (looking at the kirk long tube)(Great choice)
ATX throttle body, CAI
pacesetter cat back<----NO STAY AWAY FROM PACESETTER, do a search, I posted some pics of mine.
cam gear
maybe some head work?
soild engine mounts

also i wanna know if the 2nd gen front end will fit on the first gens?NO or what parts will? Seats will

Parts and support can be found out www.modernperformance.com
