Default performance pcm question

i am wanting to get one here real soon...but which would be better? the mopar performance or the AFX???
does anyone know the differences???besides the price...
if i remeber, the AFX lets you remove the downstream o2 sensor without a check engine light...but what about the mp??
how about the egr???

i just wanna know some advantages or disadvantages

what about the afx street/strip or race???

can i use these with a turbo or not????

I didn't see this post when it came around and I know its a bit old, but this is a good question. So I will answer it now.

The AF/x PCM is better than the Mopar, thus the cost. The AF/x PCM doesn't look at the downstream O2 sensor, but the Mopar PCM does. Neither look at the EGR system. You can use either with a turbo, but you must use an adjustable cam gear or some other means of retarding timing since both advance the timing, which is a BIG NO-NO on a turbo engine.

An adjustable cam gear wont work because the ECU is adjusting the spark timing, and the cam gear is affecting to camshaft timing. You would still have advanced spark. Are there any piggyback ECU's or anything to use for this?

My bad, not the cam gear but you would need an MSD-DIS2 programmable shoule be used if you want to use an aftermarket PCM.
