PCM Question? ACR-AF/X-Mopar Performance??
I have read about the AF/X and the Mopar Performance PCM doing a search on here:
Basically what I have read - if you have alot of Mods - you would probably get more out of a AF/X over the Mopar Performance.
This is comparing the AF/X racing version over the street version.
What I could not find is - what is the difference between a ACR PCM and a Mopar Performance PCM?
I race a factory stock DOHC engine with a 5 Speed Manual.
Would like to hear feedback from others Neon Drivers experiences with the different PCM's

Thanks das2123 for the info
Looks like factory stock engines should stay with the ACR PCM or the Mopar Performance PCM (if the rules allow for it)
I PM'ed you!
Thanks

i personally like mopar pcm alot better!! i think it pretty much gives u the same results...but for less price!!! with a good header n a better flowing intake ive seen an expresso do 15.4 at the track with the mopar ecu!
Make no mistake about it, the Mopar is great but the AF/x Race version PCM in better. Not much of a difference between the Mopar and AF/x street/strip version. Here is some info from Keith96DOHC:
The '98 DOHC ACR used for the Mopar Action PCM test was stock, except for an Iceman CAI.
1/4 mile times were:
15.21 sec - stock PCM
15.04 sec - Mopar PCM
14.93 sec - AFX S/S PCM
Dyno results were:
131.2 hp stock PCM
138.6 hp Mopar PCM
141.8 hp AFX S/S PCM
