Default BRAKES

SO i searched the topic "sticky brakes" and found out about some sort of contraption to fix the problem... Well i dont have any money (till tuesday) So im grinding the heck out of my passenger side rotor. Is there anyone else that has had a problem with one set of calipers sticking? i have like brand new brake pads on my driver side and NO pad on the passenger side. Any ideas on how to get them to not stick?

sticky brakes is usually caused by a bad caliper.......you might wanna be careful, if your brakes go for too long then the piston is gonna pop out of the caliper...youll need a new caliper to fix the problem, not to mention the fact that you will loose all your brake fluid and not have any brakes

I had the same problem you did Habitat. Sometimes it was even so bad the wheel was scorching hot, like so hot you can feel the heat just standing by it.

Anyways, I pulled the master cylinder and took it apart, cleaned all the passages. Re - Installed it and it worked great for about a week. Then it started happening again. Cleaned it one more again, and it was good. Changed the brake line and swapped the purge solenoid and everything has been coshure since.

Im not saying your caliper isn't bad, but this free fix worked for me.

Best of Luck.
