Way off topic but, I own a 2001 Grand Am also and I went to the Grand Am Owners Club website, come to find out Spuds little milkshake picture is being used over there too. Just thought that it was funny that two people have the same little milkshake picture. Sorry for the absolute useless information.

here's mine before I fixed the hanger, I know its at an angle but even not at an angle it looked off balance, I didn't fix it immediatley but after hearing that one dropped lower over and over ( the closest tip ) I finally fixed it. the milkshake was cool, he will be missed lol

Fuzzracer, you have the pacesetter???
Your problems have only begun, they rust from the inside out. I know, I used to have one. Here are some pics of what it looked like before I trashed it...

RE: ok, here are the new pics
i originally wanted to get the pacesetter, but the price was kinda cheap so i decided there had to be a reason why....so i saved up and got the vibrant....ended up wasting money anyways....i woulda gotten the borla but the guy down the street has it on his, and i didnt wanna copy him, especially since he alredy had a blue 98 r/t with skunk stripes and a taurus SHO.....then i moved in, and had the same r/t...then i found an SHO at the junk yard for cheap and picked it up...so i didnt want him to get the wrong idea..

yeah there the pacesetter ones, that yellow baned gave it away lol. and your right,my problems have only just begun, the 2.5 piping is in great condition as well as the muffler but the tips are starting to deterioate like yours, not that bad but starting. originally I was gona purchase the vibrant exhaust but went with the pacesetter because I had planned on buying the headers to complete the combo ( which i did and are installed ). when it's there time to go Im just gona axe the tips and put something else on the end. either that or straight pipes with tips
