Wheel Hop?

RE: Wheel Hop?
Your cars an auto? Your forward gears in your transmision are gone, its not wheel hop, its transmission hop. the tranny is bouncing inside of the caseing. Unless your auto has alot of ***** and a higher stall, your not spinning the tires. Ive had this happen to me, i had to have my tranny rebuilt... and frankly for the money i should have done a swap... $1200. Hopefully your car has alot of ***** and really does have wheel hop.

RE: Wheel Hop?
most likely a bad bobble strut wont cause that feeling.....the front mount would cause alot of that feeling if it was gone, and a performance one will atleast reduce it.(if it was wheel hop)....
i guess i didnt catch the part about it being an auto....oops...
i once had a 95 automatic that had a bad stutter when it shifted from 1st to 2nd.....ended up being a bad torque convertor....
since its an auto you are most likely to never experience wheel hop.....unless maybe its wet outside.....but its still nothing copared to dropping the clutch in a 5-speed
