so i just called the local dodge dealership
they that a 95 3.0L caravan intake (just the part that connects the air filter to the throttle body) is only $9.99

i was wondering if this was all i needed for the DIY CAI and if it was a good deal or i could get one for cheaper at a junk yard

Thats about what you may end up paying total in a junkyard for a used one. My local yards charge $2 for entry and then another $1 for the "later" model cars and then about $5-$7 for the tube! So I'd go with the dealer one, especially since its new!

do you have an idea on how much a DOHC muffler will cost at a pick-n-pull/junk yard?

i'm probably still going later and i might as well get the muffler if i can't find the throttle body so i can atleast start taking steps
