Default Extra Lighting brainstorming session

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to add lighting to my 99 R/T rally project car. My latest thought is that I would add four 2x6 KC's between the running lights(blinkers), in the space between the bumper and the hood. Anyone see any problem with that? The only things I can think of are 1. heat generated by the lights, and 2. decreased airflow into the engine bay since this would eat up the entire opening. There is a plastic snorkel looking thing attached to the hood that runs from the front back into the engine. If movement of air to this location is critical, I can add a hood vent. Any help with the brainstorming would be appreciated.

Here's the light I'm thinking of:

Here is the rally standard, which is suppose works well enough:

Sort of like this:

With the center four lights being long range lights.

biggest problem i see with that is, thats where air goes through to your rad. It will be like driving around with a winter front on.

There's still air entering the cavity in front of the radiator from the lower openings on the front facia piece. Maybe not enough? I think if I dump the running lights, spread the KC's to the edges, air to the radiator shouldn't be a problem. I might not be street legal though.

If you are rally racing, your going to want all the air you can get into that rad. Why not hunt around and find a roof rack for the neon, they did come as an option and throw some lights on it. Just hook them up to a switched relay and voila.

why don't you just get huge rally lights where the body kit has the holes for the fog lights?

like the rally STi's and stuff

then the two in the middle?

i don't know i'm just giving you different ideas
