Hi,

I have a 96 Plymouth Neon Sport in need of an ac compressor, but trying to find out what year Neons will interchange with it. I called Autozone to see if a 98 ac compressor will work on my 96 and they said since had different part numbers they would have to say NO to my question. Is there anyone out there that can answer that for me. Will a 97 or 98 Neon ac compressor interchange with my 96 Neon?

i dont know but I have a 95 if your interested.

 

i dont know for sure but i would think they would interchange though....

 

years 95 to 99, it's like that for a lot of the parts

 

the compressors all will interchange physically, but you will have co check the wire connectors to see if those will....that would be where the difference is
