Default srt-4 shift set up

has anyone put an SRT-4 ****/ shift boot on their car?

i'm getting the **** in the mail tomorrow or wed
and i was wondering if anyone has done it yet

i also like the shorter boot
and was wondering if anyone has done anything like cut their boot
or fit the srt-4 boot


just a quick question

if you cut the boot on your car your gonna have a very large opening there....the srt4 one wont fit beause its smaller and the center console is shaped differently....

doest the short throw shifter just change the actual throw and leave it stock height??? i have seen a lot of people cut the actual stock shifter thinking because it is shorter in height it then becomes a short throw shifter which isnt the case at all

The SRT-4 shifter is a short-throw.

95neonriceeater, just swap in a 2nd gen console.

i've been looking through the srt forums for someone selling one
but so far no luck

but would the srt shifter bolt up?
i remember everyone saying it wont

did you just use the stock shifter when you swapped everything over neonrt?

yyuuuppp you just have to relocate the e-brake and get either a 2nd gen auto shifter, boot or srt4 boot to fit the oval opening
