so yes i have put on a DOHC muffler...

i knew it wouldnt be a lot louder
but i wish it was!

all of my friends tell me that it sounds a lot louder and better outside


well i know it sounds better then their rice rockets


has anyone got their stock muffler to be a little louder?

 

just give it a while until it starts to rust....then it will be louder

 

Drill holes in it? lol....or buy a different muffler

 

My stock DOHC muffler outlasted my aftermarket pacesetter muffler. The stock muffler has a stainless coat on it. Not a great one, but a good one!

 

the wifes muffler has a big hole in it and is all spider webbed with cracks......makes it sound like it has a fart can on it.....as soon as i find a good tip im gonna put a 50-series flowmaster on it.....

 

I put a 60 on mine, and it doesnt sound that bad not much louder but its deeper

 

yeah she doesnt want it much louder but a little better sound.....plus i have a few others laying around, but i dont think she would like a 40 series
