when you guys switched to your short shifters...
did it take very long?
and did you have to take apart the whole shift linkage?
or if you guys have a real easy way to do it then could you tell me?

i already knowyou have to take the neg side off the battery, keep the e-brake on, then the center con., then the boot but then came the shift linkage and stuff and i was just wondering

after you take the boot off...
for the linkage...you just remove the small bolt on the black connector...i believe its the left cable....
then for the right one...just pry the end of the cable bushing off the shifter handle...
then remove the 3 nuts ontop of the shifter setup....then you have to remove the little snap ring that holds the one shifter arm to the handle so that it can be removed....there might be some more steps in there...but this is the jist of it
