Default 96 neon trans

ive got a 96 neon sohc and reverse is out will a dohc trans fit both auto

yes....a dohc trans will fit a sohc...and visa-versa

cool thanks that saves me some money is there any thing i can do to make it faster but cheap this is my first neon

well, while the trans is out you could always get a performance valve body for the trans...makes it shift like a manual.....200 sumthin bucks.....otherwise the normal cai, udp, header upgrades would be a start

There is no difference between the SOHC and DOHC auto tranny.
