ok the engine noise i have, I put some of the marvel mystery oil in like das said. It made it quite a bit quieter, but only about half or so. I can still here it. Any suggestions on what it might be now that i put that mmo in it and it quieted down a little??? thanks

 

i could only tell you what it is by hearing it... it could be anything making noise, if mystery oil helped it, its possible the lifters are making noise... whens the last time the oil was changed?

 

i change the oil regularly, but the last time it was about a month or 2 longer than usual. because of the transmission problem i had. If it is the lifters what do i do?

 

You can live with the ticking as it won't hurt anything. I know people who have driven over 100,000 miles with the tick. It may even go away after awhile.

Or you can go thru the hassle of changing them out.
