i was looking on modernperformance and saw that the Dynomax cat back system (piping and muffler) is cheaper than the Flowmaster cat back... is Dynomax any good? and does anyone know what their cat back systems sound like? or should i spend the extra 70 or so for the Flowmaster?

Also i need a new Cat. and i was looking at ebay for some cheap ones and i was wondering if anyone knew if these were really highflow or just a normal cat. i think its just a normal Cat. but who knows...

I haven't heard the Flowmaster system, but the Dynomax sounds nice and deep and is a quality piece!

 

ok might just go with the Dynomax then and save the $70...are the pipe sizes the same for the DOHC and SOHC?

 

All 1st gen neons came with stock 2.25" piping and the Dynomax upgrades it to 2.5" piping.

 

Plus the dynomax keeps the stock look
