I've dealt with Howell and Modern. The longest I've had to wait on a product from Howell was over three months and I was waiting for my AFX Race PCM. I wasn't satisfied with the wait as you would assume. The people at Howell seem to be good people though.[]
Modern Performance has always been more professional to me. I've ordered plenty of things from both companies and Modern Performance has always came through with their word as far as how long something will take to get delivered to me. They've also been early with some of my products.
I'm not suprised they never called you back though. I bothered to attemp to leave a message. They should call u back though.

 

i have no problems with howell i just recently spent a nice amount of money there over 4,00o to be excat. I only had problems receiving my cams and pistons but the gave me the numbers and i dealt with comp and je myself and made the process alot faster but i have called howell plenty of times with numours queations and there are always polite and helpfull plus there section is more plenty then moderns also if you call alot of times they will under sell modern

 

I prefer Modern for 2 reasons: 1)they are local for me and 2)they actually drive and tune their own neons.

 

Well, I am goin on 2 weeks now with Howell, and I really need the parts.. they have already took the money for the parts too... I think I might call and demand my money returned and the order cancelled....
