Oh now my mom never raced it she always went and still does go the speed limit. But my dad just said that in a way like not to street race it and stuff like that. Like dont do stuff that is does break. My dad said that it wont break as long as i dont race with it. And also i dont go very far in a day either.

how far and how hard you drive it doesnt mean it wont break......AT SOME POINT IF NOT REPLACED, IT WILL BREAK....you could pull it out your driveway and hit a bump and might break it....or pulling up to a parking block at hit that with the tire and break the rod....though you werent racing it or driving it farther then a block down the road, it can still break.....

do yourself a favor and spend 25.00 to replace it......
have you ever had one break on you????....if not, then its not sumthing you want to have happen.......and if you dont have the money for a tie rod, thing of what its gonna cost to get the car fixed after it breaks

just replace the damn thing! i work at autozone and i think they run about 20-30 bucks there or less for the Lifetime Warranted one. I'll look more into it because I might need to replace mine too. But, I did it on my first neon and it's not bad at all! trust me on this one. let's compare:

Tires: 200 bucks and up
Killing yourself or someone else when it breaks and steering goes out: no life or life in prison or a life of sorrow

Tie Rod End: $34.99 at Autozone (just found it)

EDIT: The above price is the DURALAST BRAND. DONT GET THE CHEAPER VALUCRAFT BRAND!!! They're crap.

To be honest i think it just needs an alignment because sometime it'll pull to the left but it hasnt over 2 weeks now. My cousin said that too that it could just need an alignment. But last night my dad told me that one time he jacked it up i guess or something and he moved the wheel and the wheel was moving but the tie rod wasnt so idk if thats the tie rod then or not?
