Soo.. my car with 191,000 miles started leaking power steering fluid.. horray! Anyone know if they offer a rebuild kit for neons? If not, I guess its off to the junk yard I go...

Leaking from where? I'd get the parts from a junkyard or you can be a MAN and remove the P/S

Alright.. so now I am leaving pretty big puddles of what I assume to be power steering fluid because it isnt oil coolant or tranny fluid.. I looked under the car after work today.. the puddle is about 6 - 8 inches in diameter, thats over a span of oh say.. 4 hours? Its not under the PS pump, though.. rather.. its more towards the reseviour.. I have no idea where else to look, I have looked at the hoses.. nothing.. Any help??!

if its not the resivoir, check by the steering rack....if you remove the tire(and dust shield if you have one) you can see up to the resivoir and the rack....maybe its a bad line back there....could be rubbing on the alt. pulley

i never thought about actually racing......but i think i would be good at it.....(you should see me delivering newspapers)
are you talking about autocross????

with my jobs i dont have the time to do any actual racing....i dont even have time to go to the track if i wanted too[:@]

the guy down the street from me autocrosses his neon r/t alot.....but he usually uses his SHO...the neon is his backup car....

yeah the other one was autocross that would be fun, too much lol so do you have a record time for passing out the papers, I know I would lol. there is a guy around here who drives a green SHO but I don't think he races it though.
