Default HELP!

Alright Neon owners, need some help here. I need anyone who can answer this to send me a message on here and enlighten me. I need to know where I can get a performance rebuild kit for a decent price for my 97 Neon, SOHC. Also is there any company out there that has a complete turbo kit for anything less than 2,995!!! [>:] I mean come on, that's f*cking CRAZY!! [:@] I don't know I'm starting to lose faith in getting this car all the way done. I also need to find a decent price on a clutch kit. So guys, HELP!!

Default RE: HELP!

here is a hint for the turbo....get the hahn racecraft...but, get the stage 1 kit....then go on ebay and get an srt4 stock intercooler....and get a intercooler piping kit.....this will save you about $500.00

the only difference between the stage 1 and stage 2, other then about $700.00...is that the stage 2 comes with an intercooler....but its alot cheaper getting a used one and the piping

you can get complete SOHC turbo kits on ebay for about 500.00 but im sure they dont have EVERYTHING...

check out modern performance and howell automotive....they carry stock and performance rebuild kits....

$3000 for a full turbo kit isn't crazy...thats cheap to what some other cars have to pay.

I wouldn't suggest buying and building your own turbo unless you REALLY know what you are doing. If you do decide to do that, the first $20 you should spend is on a book called "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell.
